Just found this graphic. I like to use Wolves record point season as a barometer on our progress this season. At the same point this season, we are currently 8 points better than wolves. Currently on a target for 105 points.

There is a Mantra I sometimes refer to...

As Brian Clough once said "We look good on paper, unfortunately the game is played on Grass"

It's a cliche for a reason. I agree that stats do sometimes get in the way of the game; xG grinds my gears.
